AGE RESTRICTIONS: In Ireland unaccompanied 16 to 18 only are permitted to stay in private rooms. To do so, they must present Generator's parental/guardian consent form and a copy of valid photo identification from the parent/guardian. Unaccompanied under 18's are not allowed to stay in shared rooms, unless they are part of a group that has booked out the entire shared room. The group leader must provide the required documentation to Generator. Failure to comply with these policies will result in automatic cancellation of the booking with no refund. Guests violating these rules will not be permitted to check into the Hostel.

PET POLICY: We would welcome a dog on property but only when staying in a private room, and subject to a fee per dog per Stay. Only Dog under 75lbs./ 34kg.

Generator accommodated my needs well on this visit to Dublin and polite staff were informed.
location: not bad location for public transport links and my other purposes, in a fairly pleasant area; suited my requirement. 24 hour access to staff and hostel helpful. Room: 6 bed dormitory - adequate and sufficiently spacious to enable one not to feel 'cheek-by-jowl with others. Unfortunately, there was a 'Snorer'! Overall clean enough and shared toilet and shower ok. Breakfast: good to be able to purchase an optional breakfast at reasonable price. Good coffee.
Access to outdoor space after 9.00pm would have been convenient Quiet area outside room would have been good.

What was the highlight of Generator Dublin
Fine stay, but quite expensive for 3 nights
Perfectly fine rooms with good accessible lockers. Had to go to another floor for toilets of bathroom, but that was fine. great location to walk to either the city and also have pubs and grocery store nearby. Or if you wanted to eat food, you could just walk across the street.
As I know, there was no kitchen space. The bar/chill space was quite loud as it was accessible for all people during the day. Not really a space to sit down quietly to eat your food or read a book or relax a little. Also this bar was quite loud during the night and could be heard in our rooms during the night.
